What the hell...Im NOT a damn ricer. I have a color shceme for my car (Black, white, chrome, purple) I got purple cuz the only other color I'd get would be blue and that attracts cops more than an HID would.A cop even pulled me over for a rolling-stop and said he didnt care about neons , except for blue and red. And you can call me a damn ricer for neons you have too, which im sure more than 1 person on this forum have. Mine are just on the ground. All I wanted was to see what 12,000k would look like cuz I like toyogirls HID's real well...I guess Ill get white when I have the money.

Well, blue is a very common color, and even HIDs with OEM-spec Kelvin ratings have a little bit of blue when you look at it from certain angles; especially if it were to be shining through projector-design headlights. However, this isn't very obvious or easily mistakable for a cop car's lighting coloring. Purple, on the other hand, stands out too much and DOES make you get pulled over.

Neons, just like washer nozzles and any other lighting on the car on the other hand are just for decorative/aesthetic purposes and doesn't serve a significant purpose, so the blue is very blue that can be mistaken for a cop car and the red is well... You get the idea.

just get what you think is best man. if you want it. go for it, but im more than sure you'll be back telling us how you can't see crap on the road. save yourself the money and do it right the first time. trust me, ask anyone. I've been there.
