Question about TRD muffler

Does this muffler have to be installed by a muffler shop? I mean, is there any welding needed or is it a simple bold on application? I noticed that some Scion mufflers are just bolted which would make it very easy to swap if that was the case with the Solara.

D'oh... you're right. How did I miss the right forum.

Thanks for the info, though. Makes getting the muffler cheaper since there is no need to pay for installation.

FYI: I always muffler shops not cus i'm rich or want to burn money, their tooks are made to make life easy. Try unbolting the muffler yourself and you will know what i'm talking about. It costed me $37 (i believe) to get a trd muffler placed on my car at Midas.

Hmm... well if it's only $40 to swap mufflers, then I might have the shop do it. I was thinking they'd charge too much.
