NEVER NEVER use spacers without longer studs

I just finished putting the longer studs in my hub centric spacers it was a bit of a pain but with a bearing press from harbor freight no prob. Any way after a test drive I noticed something scary. Before the longer studs I was getting vibration at highway speeds about 65 and up. All my lugs were tight and torque properly. I figured I had a miss balanced tire. WRONG now with new studs no more problem I did not touch the fronts so it is obvious that the lack of threads the lug nuts were grabbing on to was not enough very scary . Any way this was just to let the rest of you guys know.

Yes I am also glad I only went 5 mil

LOL, yeah that too.... What size spacers did you end up using?

I used 5mm spacers

Yeah, Im using a 15mm spacer on my daily and 25 on my other camry...

yeah i thought you were gonna tell all of us a horrible story of your wheels falling off and your car being a boat on the highway. glad that nothing bad didn't happen to you.
