Was cruising down the highway yesterday around 80 mph and my car would lose power then regain it back. It would only last for a second but did it a couple of times. But when I got into the city the car ran fine.
My question, I was thinking it might be the fuel pump. Does anyone know if fuel pump just completely goes out or are they spratic when they go out??

Any help is appriciated

Thanks

Usually they just go out. Do you have a CEL or any performance mods? Lets get some info on the car.

it's pretty much stock. Would a loose battery cable make it do that by chance?
