good point, I just assumed they were for the gen 1.

Also, after reading the first page it does say 5 people... so if everyone who said they were going to pay this week does, we should be in business... cross your fingers!

probably 1.5 so they only need one mold to sell for both gen 1 and 1.5's instead of making a gen 1 mold and have it not fit the 1.5

i agree there rich.. the 1.5 kit is the best idea.. i was just pointing it out so people dont get suprised when they recieve it..

hence ask questions people so everything is cleared up early on and you dont beeyatch if something isint perfect (ie downpipe for cali spec cars)

Ok guys, the kit that this gb is for is the gen 1.5 kit. It will fit the gen 1 and gen 1.5 so it makes the most sense providing. I don't even think the gen 1 kit is even being manufactured any longer.

^right, I want to know for sure too and how much modification of the front is required, because that of course adds costs to the kit. One thread I found when i searched said the 1.5 front lips wont fit on the gen 1s... if I can just hear from someone how much work the install will be onto a gen 1, Ill be fine...

2 extra screws per front valence...thats it. Just because the 1.5 has a different curve. The rest is direct fit.

I have a Gen 1.5 kit on my Gen 1, I opted to take it to get it installed professionally while getting a paint job. I know some people have been able to adapt their 1.5 kits to their Gen 1s with almost no trouble, maybe some better adhesive in the front valances and that's about it. If you take it to a shop I don't see them charging you more than $200, but if you can get it done yourself then more power to you.

Ill be making payment by the end of the week. If you guys who have paid want to you can start a paid list...
