Problem With Strut Mount (rear)

Postby Ruski » Sun Apr 08, 2007 7:06 am

Ok so i finally got my Tokicos in and i got to work tearing the Rear Monroe (crap ) out ..After everything was installed i went to tighten everything to specs.. SO i wouldn't have knocking like i did before.. But i over tightened one of the three top struts mount bolts.. and it broke of.. Now i do not have the money to through out on a new mount or the time to pull everything back out.. So i was wondering is there any way for me to knock the old bolt out and feed a new one through with a new nut to tighten it.. OR can i drill through the old one and then feed a new one? :-?
Suggestions Please.. And no Smart Ass Comments Please.. Im already Pissed at myself
Thanks in advance

Sorry about your problem mike, I guess were just really lucky with things going wrong with our suspension. I remember when mine sat on blocks for 6 days before I actually finished it all.

But as we talked...i have no idea what to do :)

Goodluck man!

I think you could possibly pop out the old bolt and put in a new one....but I don't know where you can get a replacement bolt though. Try calling some auto-parts stores and ask.
