New Suspension!

OK. I recently posted pics of my Solara and as espected, everyone says lower it! So I have contacted Advanced Auto and they will let me return my SensaTrak struts since I am unhappy with them. I am going with the KYB struts and looking at Tein springs. My question is people keet talking about fake Teins on Ebay. Here are my 2 options: 1) Buy the KYB GR2 springs and the Tein Springs ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TEIN-S-T ... enameZWDVW ) DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THESE ARE THE FAKES? or this guy has a KYB GR2 Strut with Vogtland (959080)high performance German made Lowering springs: (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-GR-2 ... enameZWDVW )

Any Suggestions???

There's a thread/link in here somewhere on how to spot the fakes. Search here or google. I think it's on the Tein site but it's for Coilovers. Same principle might apply.

they're not, the fake lettering is skinnier for "stylish spec," plus they dont make them for solaras

If you have an extra $56 (assuming your getting the KYBs off ebay for $264) then go for Tokico. Although never having KYBs I think theres more people that are satisfied with them rather then KYB.

Heres a link

tru, you have three choices for struts/springs

1. Stock struts & aftermarket springs $cost of springs
2. SE Sport Struts (stiffer, less bounce) & aftermarket springs $Can be found for 150-300 + cost of springs
3. JIC Magic or Tein coilovers that come with everything $1200+
