well, inever been to a mett and was thinking about it and i want to go to one..well
i was thinking we can have a SG meet... we can invite our other friends or whatever..this is So Cal but if others want they can come

i was thinking we could have it at a park and have some BBQ or whatever..or just meet at a park ..

i was thinkin May 18..(saturday)
umm i heard glendale burbank area is nice parks

Sorry to make it all caps, but in another thread me and a few others STRESSED the importance of NOT going to those places; they have the WORST police there. I even gave an example, but this time I'll go in detail of how grad night was partially disrupted by some Burbank cop killed the moment:

One time in Burbank me and a few friends decided to celebrate HS graduation and went to an Italian restaurant near Buena Vista and Magnolia, and we ALL had performance and/or customized cars (Camaro Z28, 350Z, Mustang, and I even drove my dad's friend's Bimmer 330i drop top since I wanted to leave with a boom... AND my car was in the shop too ).

Then sure enough after driving into the parking lot in a caravan formation with some of us still clad in grad gear, a Burbank cop pulls in and decided to ask all these weird questions, gave us some lame excuse while accusing us of having the intent to start a street race (or something like that; me, G/F, and 2 buddies already grabbed a table) and chased us out with the lights on and everything. If it wasn't for a buddy planning an after party at his aunt's house and quick thinking, it would've been boring.

In other words, anywhere but Burbank, Glendale, or any place that has their police force named after the city!!! Anywhere LAPD or Sheriff-controlled is better; they could give a fxck less about what's happening.

what we do when there is a a-hole cop is always have a older genteman with you around 40 or so say that you are just meeting together....

here in Texas the cops cant do ANYTHING in less the place you are at calls them

Sorry - I'm no gentleman! I'm more likely to get everybody arrested than not!!

Anyways - no plans for me for awhile - after this weekend's car show/meet (which has been announced for MONTHS for us SoCal folks) - I'm going to be working on getting some major performance mods done while I'm doing some traveling for work and stuff, so I may not have my ride for long periods of time.

Yep, Hollywood is just too busy....it was hard to get around the last time we had a meet there. Some guys were holding up traffic so we all could try and stick together.

Dood - I think you're alienating the very people you're trying to hang with bro!

You just missed a big opportunity to meet yesterday at the Car Show at Penske. You also need to listen to people who have been doing this a long time in the area - they know what works and what doesn't, and if you're cooperative, then you're more likely to get a decent turnout.
