Hey guys, I was thinking about going HID on my 02 solara. What do you gusy think about ebay hid kits in general and i was thinking about getting these

What about the 8000k kits on ebay. What would that produce a bluish or purple color? And are those kits good?

Go with 6000k to 8000k anything above 8000k is useless and only good for show.

Too bad the site where i got my hid kit for 140 is closed or i woulda bought more...

What brand are yours? What temp did you get? And finally how are you liking them?

p.s any install tips would be helpful, like where did you mount your ballast and did you use doulbe sided tape etc...

I have 8000K and in my opinion they light up the road pretty well but i'd still suggest going with the 6000K it lights up even better.

Best lighting from 4300K-6000K.... Everything else sucks. Except 3000K for the fogs.
