It could also be the struts, if they are more worn in the rear, you will get drooping back there..

I did my research, and was gonna do a tokico/tein setup on my car, but decided to save up, and got tein coilovers.... NYC streets are rough on any suspension, so after a front strut rebuild, and level 2 springs up front, Im str8.

Keep in mind our cars tend to lean a lil to the left, because of the weight of the driver, with coilovers, you can drop the passenger side a bit, to compensate. Keep in mind, both passenger side tires are supposed to run 3psi lower than the driver side tires.... by adjusting the suspension, you can keep the tires at equal psi, allowing a more even feel on turns and such.

Sorry to hear about your situation with the springs, hopefully you can resolve that, but if you change your springs, ever.... change the struts too.

Maybe some vehicles work better with those springs. But, remember, use this forum for what it's for.....info. I always check here on whether or not to buy a certain brand, I figure it's better to hear what people experience on the same ride then what people experience on a different ride.

Post winter, I just sprayed the underbody, and cleaned it, What really messed mine up, mertiting a rebuild for the fronts, some rocks had made it passed the coils, and got pinned.

NYC potholes are a B*tch, so on one occasion when the suspension bottomed, the rock got compressed, and scarred the main shaft, which then compromised the seal for the oil.... got that replaced during the build, tried it with stock coilover springs, and had the driverside sag.... ordered a set of level 2 springs for the front struts, issue cured, shoot, and at $125 for a pair of springs, it was worth it.

I have not experienced any of the decay issues with salt on the roads here, and I drove during the winter. the key is to clean out the coilovers atleast every 2 months.

Oh yeah, I used KYB strut mounts, since the Teins dont come with any of their own, I found a site with custom mounts, allowing for camber adjustment from Ksport, but.... new brand, makes me a lil iffy on it. Remember that even if the front strut mount bearings are sealed, a lil grease in the bearing cups, helps keep things smoother, I noticed there used to be some knocking before (they weren't greased), after, they are smooth as a baby's bottom...

My next mod, is gonna be polyurethane bushings all around, and a whiteline front sway bar, already got the TRD rear, you want to get this!

I just got my hands on a new CAD design software.... so Im gonna see about re-creating a mod that was popular back in the day.... more to come on this in a month or two.... My brother and I have debated long enough, and Im gonna get his assistance on this.

Yeah, they sell the best blinker fluid in the industry!!!!!!!! Once I used their blinker fluid that annoying ticking sound was instantly gone..It is an amazing product.

You'll find basically everything in this forum. Most of the members in this forum has tried about everything out in the market and has given their feedback and recommendation to it. The springs you have ARE not bad but they WILL sag after a few years. You have to consider that most of the other cars are not heavy nor torqie as our cars which puts major stress on the suspension. Good advice for you is Solara are not like other cars. Look and treat it like a Lexus. You'll be surprise what it can do and how clean it can look if done right.

Just search (the best you can, although the search function isn't that great sometimes) for what you are interested in. You'll usually find what you are looking for, if not then make a new post. Generally, I'd make a different post only if they are totally unrelated questions. This way it'll show up for future reference in searches. There's not alot of products for are car, which you've probably starting to notice. So, you can see it can be beneficial to research here on products. The spring/strut question has popped up many times in this forum, and if you tried searching now, you'll see many topics related about it. One important piece of info you could've learned before you bought those is about how each one sits (relative to front/rear fender gaps). I went through this also, but now I've got JIC coilovers - which is what I should've saved up for in the first place. It's always better to be patient and save for the product you want, then to rush and buy or settle for what you can afford at the moment.

My car seems to hesitate when driving around 40mph (60-70 Km/hr). It chugs only at that speed, fine anywhere else on the speedo. Any suggestions?

I also couldn't find anything specific for my wheel fitment situation. I have 18" x 7.5 width +45 offset rims. I found this is a high offset for our car. Any suggestions on tires to install as well as spacers/hubcentric rings for this specific application?

Try cleaning your throttle body, sometimes it being dirty can cause some hesitation.

Just stick with a good name brand and check out their stats/ratings, because everyone has different opinions on tires. I'm currently using Falken FK452 (http://www.fk452.com/index.html) up front right now. I had the 451 all around and was quite happy. The newer version (fk452) is way beter. Remember, this is my opionion. There are quite a few topics on tires.
