hey jeff, where did you buy the front sway bar and those brakelines? and does the brakelines make a difference in stopping wise?

One question about those SS lines. Didn't you have a fitment issue with them?

I got my Whiteline Sway Bar online - check out the link in the thread (Search for FSTB, RSB, Sway Bar - can't remember and too lazy to do it for ya!)

I DO have to say I still have my concerns about it - will know after a couple weeks of driving with it on. Fitment issues and long-term affect on all other suspension components are still there - and I can't stress upon you what a bitch it is to DIY!

As far as the Stoptech SS lines are concerned, there were no fitment issues whatsoever. I've only heard of one other case and as far as I can tell, they either tried to put the front lines on the rears or they were shipped two sets of front lines (which are shorter). It took me about 10-15 minutes per wheel to install mine, but I had to re-bleed the lines since I didn't have a bleeding kit when I installed them ($9 at AutoZone for the simple kit - all you need to DIY) :up:

They perform great, but like I said, I did the rotors and new pads just before it, so hard to compare to OEM. All I can say is that stopping this heavy beast is much, much easier and the system is really sensitive/responsive now.

After reading your testamonial, I bought my Stoptech SS lines directly on Stoptech website. It is a bad timing because I'll get installed my rotors on Wednesday...yeah I know I could do it myself but I want to see myself how a pro do...braking remains to be an important part of driving, I don't want to mess with it !

Also I hope my calipers painting will look good as you did !! I'll paint mine black with a white TRD decal.

Sebas - where did you get the TRD Decal? Doesn't it melt and fall off?

Eddie - With the other chrome accents I currently have, I like the balance of the chrome strip on the hood personally. Now if I was to shave the door handles and put Lambo doors on it, black out my headlights and lose all the chrome, then I would consider it. You do know that the whole hood needs to be repainted when you fill the holes in - and I really don't want the black strip on my ride either. Personal prefs.

I propably didn't use the correct word. I will paint the TRD in white with the help of a TRD pattern model on the black painted calipers.

I'll paint the calipers with some coat of white where I want to put the TRD sign...after I'll put the decal on and paint it the whole calipers black then remove the TRD decal....should work !?!
