I wouldnt mind being in control of the group buy since I check SG at least 5 times throughout the day (college kid with lots of free time). But Im not sure if I will be able to purchase a kit or not, depends on if I get a job this summer. But if I was in control and say we were one kit down and it was the last min of the deadline, I would step in and purchase one myself to keep the deadline, that can be assured...

Its up to you guys if you want me taking this on, since I might not be purchasing a kit, some might say my heart is not 'fully in on it'

I would be interested in the kit too. But like Latin I havent bought my gf a ring yet and thats comes first this time. So we will see. Things are looking good though cause I am gradutating this summer and I already have a job offer!

It really doesnt matter to me who coordinates it. You dont even have to be buying one to coordinate it, just kinda manage the numbers and date etc.

July 1st..mid july...or end of July?

Well just talked to xaviar, he's looking into different modes of shipping (group shipping/zoning) to try to save everyone some money, even though it might not be much, or none at all, the present shipping method & cost might work out better.

These kits are as many have already discussed are already marked down soooooo much from the original cost of these as we all already know. But if everyone could give me the best time for July that would get us to continue to press on with this GB.

Lets just keep this moving, tossing opinions and ideas around. When the time nears for purchasing we'll create a different thread that will be more 'put together.

IDEA: From the old group buy these kits cost $670+125shipping = $795+paypal fees which I believe was 3% = $819

If we set the date to the 1st of July, and since there are 71 days left, just put away $11.53 a day and you'll be set. I just did this so I could look at it in a different perspective.

I may also be interested for july, although right now im undecided 50/50. It'd be real sweet to get 10 guys and get the kit for $640. I would def have the money by July 1st and I'll keep you guys posted.

actually you guys might need to count me out of this one because with a few bills and some situations that have arisen lately I might not even be able to afford one until the fall. sorry.

unless if someone is willing to sell a kit in the 500s or lower then I'm probably just sh!toutofluck right now.

Jeff - when have you ever seen any used Kaminari kit sell for the $500s? Unless its missing pieces or damaged...

kwyse - hopefully we can get as many kits as possible, not sure on any lower price for everyone though, xaviar would have to *chime* in on that.

How does July 1st as a deadline sound for everyone whos still content on the GB?

On a side note if your not 100% sure you will have money, or already laid most of it down please dont add your name to the list...it just complicates things in the end. If you are slightly/somewhat interested just make sure your explicit in that, as kwyse said hes 50/50...
