I think this topic was covered before but I just wanted to make sure something.. I have 01 solara v6 and I have signle cd changer.. but my mom has toyota sienna 00 and she has 6cd changer that came with it. I'm trying to replace my cd changer with my mom's 6cd changer.. is it possible??? and stupid question but how do I take the cd changer out? is there certain way to take the cd player out? please help (if somebody have pix, it will be very helpful...)

If the plugs are the same, then you can swap it.

Take out the front panel with some force but do it gently, take off the 4 bolts mounting the stereo, unplug the white plug behind and 2 antenna lines. Done.

Question: do you already have a unit, or are you going to buy one from freebay (or new from dealership??). I ask because I want to downsize...from my indash 6 to single cd player!
