HID QUESTION

Postby Sikh1MZFE » Thu Apr 19, 2007 4:03 pm

Hi guys i just got my hid kit in today it the mcchulloh kit 8000k. I know its plug and play but can anyone show me a thread where its shows pics etcc on how the ballast were mounted and where they where. and if they just used two sided tape or screws and two sided tape. I just want to know what are the best locations to mount the ballast and just a step by step on how to install the hid kit. I looked on the forum but coulndt find a thread like that.

thank you

Put one under the battery and the other behind the washer filler tube.

go buy 3m double sided tape. i used that and its been great. other than that, put the ballasts under the battery, and depending on if you have an se or sle you can put it in front of or behind the washer filler tube. also, be sure to zip tie and secure the harness and wires.

Thanks BRO, that was a nice thread, mounting the ballast under the headlights by removing the headlights first is a good spot.

I have mine behind the battery where the strut bar is and passenger side is right next to the windshield washer fluid.

But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.
