Opinions on black rims?

Postby woa_its_j3ff » Mon Apr 23, 2007 9:28 am

3rd ones.

and I agree to RichD with some extent but ive had my ADR rims before for i think 2 months now or so and haven't had any issues at all the the road around here are crap.. even on some of the highways...

lol at first i thought you meant black as in all black and no machine/polished lip.. because i personally don't like those at all..
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

Thanks.

Okay Falken it is. I'll do the same setup as you Astro unless you have a difference of opinion in the tires.

Rims: Falken Koblenz 19x8.5 - gloss black w/chrome lip
Tires: Falken GRB FK-451 - 235/35/19 +35 offset

Thanks for everyones input and Astro for the inspiration.

Cool, just make sure to roll or cut the rear fenders! Also, the front fenders might have some issues depending how low you are....

How much would those Falkens weight? I know they are 19s, but I was thinking on something like that, but 17-18s rather...just lighter than stock 17s I guess...

I plan on rolling them. Should be about $60 to do all 4 right? or am I way off? Also I won't be getting the rims until after I get coilovers so hopefully that'll take care of the front fender issue. (I'm proposing June/July for the project)

I was thinking the same thing myself, I wanted 18's but Astros looks so damn sexy. I'll make that final decision based on my wallet at the time of purchase :D

If you got 17's those would be cheap as hell. Probably same weight or lighter.

*I'm finally getting a chance to hook my ride up. Took long enough. I just got back in from instaling my rear speakers, I'm meeting up with Blak this weekend to get some speaker wire and I just ordered a TRD RSB from Reggie last night I can't wait!!!
