To be reproduced???

http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t164880.html

This guy wants to reproduce and sell. To all you kids that don't know what it is... Well it is a Caliper relocator which lets you run Supra TT Front rotors with your wheels... (17s and up)

Search for it also.

I need to run my 16s for winter, so no dice for me :( but I do remember when these came out, it was a pretty slick kit.

I had a machine shop look at mine hen i got them, but to reproduce they needed a CAD blueprint of the bracket. I had CATIA on my machine, but it crashed, and I lost all that data. So, since I work like almost 14hrs a day 5 days a week... Im too beat to get it done, but dont worry, if his guy falls thru, I may be still capable of getting them made as well.

My machine shop contacts left those places, and Im trying to create a relationship with the new owners..

I'll keep u posted, but I dont wanna bite on this guy either.... so if he falls thru, I will do wut I can for the group.
Geeks get it done, while Nerds whimper and call for mommie.

I've posted over on TN that I'm interested already, but a good question is this though: how much do the supra rotors cost? :drinking:

Too Bad

Postby JMSinMaryland » Wed Apr 25, 2007 4:45 pm

I think if this fit 16" wheels there would be more of a demand, I used to switch between 18" for summer and 16" for winter wheels, I am now only riding on my 16" BBS's, wasn't willing to switch rotors, switching wheels every year was a big enough pain by itself. I remember the MKIV having 17" rims in TT version and 16" in NA version correct? Could we modify these calipers to fit 16"?

^ doubtful, as it's not the calipers that don't fit, but the rotors that will be too big

if the brackets were designed for the NA supras, then it would. but then somebody else would have to design those brackets

and go 17" winters!!

So would these work with NA Supra Rotors with a 16" wheel?

Well i'm workin' on CAD 2007 right now. :D
I could do the CAD drawin's of the brackets if you wanted, but you would have to trace it on paper, and send it to me or somethin', and i could draw it up on CAD 2007, cause i'm usin' it almost everyday at school. :D
