Why did it get a salvage title. The solara itself is a great car, i'm just worried about the title. Also just remember a salvage title will have little or no resale value

just putting in my 2 cents...

I found a salvaged 2001 solara se 4-cyl about 6 months ago in the ad running for 10.5 g's... its at 19k miles and runs great...

Turns out that it was someone i knew who was selling it and hooked it up to 9.5 g's... i was CLOSE to getting it but the title held me back. It was lightly hit in the front end (air bags didnt deploy) and i know how to look at the fix-ups with past body work experience...

Thought about it long n hard and saw that its not worth it to buy a new salvaged car... might as well buy a older model car. But hey its all on you! I bought my solara with a clean title a month after n its GREAT! its REALLY tough finding a used solara in the Bay Area since everyone loves it and wants to keep it

GOOD LUCK

Salvaged cars have their risks. Yes they maybe cheap but you'll probably ask for trouble in the long run.

I would suggest not getting a salvaged title car. When you want to sell it, which will probably gonna be after a year, you're gonna be taking a big loss trying to sell it.

well i dunno eh. i found another one for 11g and its a 2000 silver, SLE, v6 got like 50k miles. so probably check that one out too. yeah i know the risk of getting a salvage car. do you think a 00 wit 50k miles is a lot??? plus that car is slavage too.

I dont know how the condition of the car is but Id suggest you check it out... an SLE V6 for 11g's is good but its salvaged... 50k for the solara is kind of normal especially in the bay area and so kali... ask Ryan how much he has on his solara

overall i think u should stay away from salvaged... itll put you more at ease knowing your car that you bought so much for has a clean title

how much are clean title used solara??? i cant spend that much so it has to be from 10to 12g. i was about to get a civic hatchback before. but most of them were 9g for a 00 and i rather just spend 2-3g more for a solara wit powered everything and faster car.
