So yeah, it happened to me, never thought it would but it did!

I bought a new fuel filter on ebay a few weeks ago...finally got some time to actually put it in. I bought some flared nut wrenches and got to work.

Took apart the airbox, hoses, etc and got down to the fuel filter. Sprayed some PB oil and waited a few mins, stared to hold the 19mm wrench/filter in place and turning the 14mm nut clockwise twards the firewall.

I got a few turns before I started feeling it 'pop' out of place. I took a picture with my camera phone and felt the nut and it deff feels stripped. There are still some flat points so im thinking an adjustable wrench might help me, but im not sure. I drove around since it isnt that big of a gap (maybe a mm) and nothing is leaking.

So my question...what do i do next??
(ps, yes i feel retarded)

locking pliers are your friends and will also solve your problem.

I used them from the start and didn't have to worry about damaging anything
