Helps stop the engine from shifting when you accelerate thus eliminating wasted energy and allowing that energy to be used as torque/HP to the wheels. Well, that's it in laymen terms anyway.

I haven't installed mines yet. It looks fairly straight forward. I hope it is when I try the install.

Torque Rods

Postby PDX SuperSolara » Thu May 24, 2007 2:53 pm

I'm glad everyone likes the Torque rods. It's pretty simple but really works, kinda like the fuel mod! Francisco's order was sent to the wrong address and was returned, however I am re-sending to the right address, sorry about that Francisco.

Anyway, don't bother sending money for torque rods as the last group is completely sold out! The cost of some of the parts went up so if they are offered again the price will be a little more. If I get enough interest I will make more but they have to be made in bunches for a good deal, aka "group buy".

Jim

P.S. The fuel upgrade parts also went up, so they are $225 now. Bummer, but good for you who acted quickly.

i'm still interested in getting a torque rod assuming the price didn't go up drastically like over $100.

thanks,
Michael
