what is underneath it to the right with the small little red light?

You mean you smoke in your solara  Don't do that to your baby.

Heres info about the real "infamous" cointray

It all started here http://www.zer0.info/solaraguy/viewtopi ... c&start=30

Here is a pic of missays car and the coin box. http://www.geocities.com/solarachick84/cointray.html

What have we done?!? A three page thread on a coin holder?!? WTF?!? I'm kinda' partial to the automatic climate control. The auto dimming mirror would be kinda' cool too if it wasn't for my privacy glass completely negating its function. The Homelink system is also kinda nice.

I use the ash tray for my change but I never empty the change out of it and it gets so full that I have a hard time getting it open and closed. Is the coin tray the flat realy thin tray above the climate control? Mine has some kind of felt like material in it. I thought it was kind of pointless the only thing you can put in it is a ring or earrings or some kind of small jewlry. My favorite thing about my solara is the ride. I used to have a avalon and the solara stock rides much lower and with lowering springs it feels like driving a go kart.

LOL I just found that out the other day too. Turn it to the left to lock it, or to the right to open it. Its so you can lock it and then give the valet key so they can't get into the trunk

I have yet to even see a moded Solara in the entire Kansas City area. I've only seen probably 5-10 other Solaras, and they're all auto SLEs with 40-50 year old men/women driving them. Despite that, I still always check out the other Solaras and wave :)

By remote, I think they mean the remote trunk release, not the remote key fob release. You know... the dinky button the placed in our glove instead of in the standard Japanese car 'next to gas tank release' position =\

Mine trunk release is on the floor below the passenger seat next to the fuel door release.
