Question-Gabriel struts, tokico, or kyb--same price for for all three installed-but are they same quality?Another question-30,000 miles if I just get eiback springs can I wait on the struts? And if I can how long should I wait? Car is not a daily driver......Thanks for all the help

If they are all the same price get the tokicos.

Also at 30k miles you have a lot of life left on the stock struts, but using the eibach springs will greatly reduce the life. If you aren't doing the work yourself, your best bet is to have them all done at once. It'll cost a lot of money and be a pain in the butt to have to do the struts a separate time.

hey flip, know I'm not crazy, but I called two different shops and it seems liek they are giving me the run around. I want to get the eibach springs but they say it's only a 1.2 drop, I thought it was a 1.6....Then they say I need cambers(I think that is how to spell it). I'm running on 18's with 45 series tires right now and both shops did agree that the 1.2 drop would be enough, but I'm not sure. You seem to know a lot and I'm to good with cars.....Just looking for a little help from anybody bro.........

You DO NOT need cambers, thats just a money making tactic that all dealers use. There has been a lot of debate lately about what eibach has done with the drop. Theorhetically the Solara is supposed to have a 1.6" drop and the camry has a 1.2" drop, but some members have reported ordering the solara kit and getting one with the camry part numbers. I have the tokico/eibach combo and its a perfect drop for me, I love them.

Thanks yanks, it's seems that even the dealers are confused on what kind of drop it gives.....I guess that is kind of good that are cars are hard to figure out...That means everybody doesn't have them(example accords).........I did most of my talking over the phone but I guess if I go down there in person I can explain it to them better....Is there a website that explains the difference in both sets I can bring that to them and show them what' s up..........Even better are there and solara drivers in sacramento hit me up if you are........

Don't explain to dealers, tell them what you want.

Eibach ship Camry springs now for Solara anyways. It really doesn't make much of a difference IMO.

BTW, how can you have 45 series with 18"? What width are your running?
