gated shifter

this is a stupid question, but is there any possible way to make the auto shifter a gated one? i know anything is doable with money. how muh are we looking at, if it is possible.

Those gated shifters (nissan vq35de autos) depend on the transmission type... they have to be made to shift in that shape (I think)... so you can get a straight line gate =P

Nope...And yeah if you have LOADS OF CASH...but then again, why would you want do that mod if you had loads of cash! I asked this very questions when the new corollas came out because i wanted to install the altis gate type shifter...versus our USDM corolla st. line shifter...Its possible..but it costs a lot of money. If memory serves me right, toysports were the only ones who gave me part numbers and pricing! Try them....

I just wondering if the 5-speed (n gated) 3mz-fe tranny is compatible w/ 1mz-fe.

Only if you have a 5spd auto 1MZ-FE. Then possibly with alot of modifcations to fit in the console.

The 02-03 ES300 and the 03 Camry V6 both VVT-i versions of the 1MZ-FE.
