I got my 2001 SLE driver seat squeaking. The sound comes from the upper part of seat. I wonder if this problem is covered by the warranty and I also read somewhere that Camry has this problem for a while.

There is a TSB about it, do a search on the forum and you'll find it. Or better yet, goto the dealer and get it fixed

Take it to your local Toyota service department and raise the issue with them. Yes there is a technical service bulletin on this and should be covered under your basic warranty.

Do you think this would be covered under the 100,000 mile Extra Care Warranty I purchased with the car??

I am not too sure about this...

I know for one thing that my broken Sunvisor won't be covered by extra warranty.

You can always talk to the service dept.

did you purchase the wrap?
you received a list of covered parts when you purchased the car, if it is covered, it'll be on that list.

WRAP? I don't know. I just know I have the Platnium Extra Care warranty. I guess I have to look.

Dude if you bought the platinum one, it should be. I bought the wrap one, and it didn't cover my CD player.. BAH!!

If you can find your little warranty folder, the info should be in there as to what's covered...
