hi i was wondering are there any headers besides the jp performance ones? i think those are a little too expensive. i was wondering they claimed 30 whp. thats a lot for just headers and y-pipe. id understand maybe 10-15 whp but 30 is hard to believe. i was looking for headers around 500 ish. or if anyone actually got the jp headers do they really give 30 whp? thx for the info in advance

I believe that the 30 HP included a different cat back system as well.

no wonder they charge so much...they are the only ones...hmmm...does anyone know how much time that 30 whp will knock of the 1/4 mile run...or if you will feel a difference? do you guys think its worth the $1600 or should i get shocks, rims and tires instead?

i'd go for the shocks/springs/rims, but thats me. i already have a 5spd and dont feel the need to go faster right now, i'd rather handle better.

the test was also done w/ a supercharged 5spd, so im not sure what the numbers would be on a stock auto or 5spd w/out SC

hey dailo,

if you'd searched on the board, you might have come across the header project being headed up by a company called Xerd.

we're all still waiting for the finished product, and supposedly it'll be cheaper than the jp headers.

yup ive searched and saw the topic xerd but from what the topic says hes not done...also i have a 5 spd with supercharger and 5.5 psi pulley, denso irridium spark plugs, custom catback exhaust, injen intake, trd lowering springs and a shortshifter. i also have an s-afc sitting in my room waiting till i get off my lazy butt to go get it dynotuned. yea i think ill go for the tokico struts instead.
this is off topic...but do u guys recommend getting 17" rims? i have the stock 16" rims and was wondering if i just upgrade the tires and leave stock rims will that be good? also...does anyone know how good the trd rear sway bar is?

trd rsb is a great addition to suspension upgrade. i didnt think it was gonna be as big of a diff. but it was. i have tokico/eibach/trd rsb and im loving it. and w/ the 18x8 rims i feel like im stuck to the ground
