Because they do absolutely nothing! That's all there is to it. Anyone can say it's dyno proven and make a fake sheet. Don't you think everyone and their mother would have one if it was true? Around $30 for 35hp isn't going to happen, especially on a Solara....

If you allready bought it try it out and write a definitive review to help other car noobs it would be a cool thing to do. The cai is good sense you don't have a MAF you can go the ebay root. The round steel thing or tornado that is soposto spin the air does nothing don't buy that crap.

mass airflow sensor/ meter, something that measures the ratio of air going in so as to provide optimum numbers for air -fuel ignition. i think
if u decide to go the cai way, u'll definitely wanna get a maf to go with it since i would think these numbers differ.
but ------ search, lol. there is TONS of stuff out there on appropriate (read proven) ways :drinking:

u know i find it very surprising though that the seller has so much positive feedback for all the chips. of course most of it says something like 'fast shipping' but i figured if these really sucked, there would be negative feedback from pissed off people. i only really saw one...go figure?
