does the v6 have a front strut bar? i see something that looks like one in my 99 se. i can't seem to find them on the internet.

is this for a v6?

it says it does, however i wouldnt trust it...just to go toyotaparts4u.com and get the trd strut tower bar...its worth it and is better quality than the ebay one. L8r moe

EVERY Solara has a front strut tower bar. 4cyl or V6 it doesn't matter.

That bar is useless. The stock one is probally better. It is black and you'll easily see it if you open up the hood. You may be thinking of the TRD one that was used for SCed cars. The factory strut tower brace was not tall enough to fit a supercharger under it, so they came out with a modified one. Thats probally why you remember seeing them on the v6
