TRD Body Kit with stock 16" wheels

Postby xSolarax » Sat Jun 16, 2007 9:19 am

Just was curious to see if anyone has a lip kit on their gen 1-1.5 with the stock wheels to see what it looks like. Pictures or a link to a cardomain.com site would be perfect.

I know solarablue has the kit on stock rims and it looks real nice. He's on s-techs too. IMO the kit on stock rims looks just as good as aftermarket rims without a kit. I'd get the kit first though only because they are a lot harder to find compared with rims which you can buy from practically anywhere.

I say you should wait until you can buy both the TRD lip kit and a new set of wheels. But if you want to do the other way I say go with the wheels first.

Why wait? Go for the kit - do what you can when you can. It's not like you're going to be unveiling a show car or anything... just mod as you can afford to. Its all cool. :D

Blue... it actually looks a lot better than i imagined. I didn't think it would look that good. Thanks for the pics. And yeah dude i wish i could do both but half of my summer money is for school and other expenses, while a lil bit is set aside for the car.

i say trd kit... u can always get rims anytime... but whenever u can jump on the kit... do it.. cuz who knows... one day they might just stop making it again.
we're lucky enough to have someone start making it again.... lol

trd kit. in my opinion.
If I had my choice thats what I would redo, but no.. i got rims first.

well actually id lower the car, then put on rims, then kit..
man.. im changing my mind again.

But just look at solarablue's ride, one of the cleanest gen 1s here with stock rims. plain sexy.
