Sunroof Problem

ok here goes.... i have a 02 SE with a sunroof.. its the factory sunroof/moonroff. whatever they call it. i use it on a day to day basis and never had a problem with it. until last week i was using it and like i always do it pop it upward. but this time i started to hear this werid clicking noise. like the gear is strip or something... now everytime i pop it up it makes that noise. but when i slide it open its sounds normal... have any of u had this problem before... just wanted to get some feedback... and how this problem was solved... thanks

i have that problem too
my sound was noticeable when it started happening, but now i think im just used to it
it might be a coincidence, but i started hearing it after taking a pretty big pothole
its definitely not loud, just doesnt sound right...but its not bothering me anymore and the roof works fine

yea its not loud but i notice it only when i pop it up... but im going to bring it to the dealer next week and have it checked out.. it may work fine now but then i dont want it to stop workin the future..

Yeah try not to open it until you get to the dealer to look at it. Hopefully they will fix the problem in no time.
