I finally got my Solara cleaned up enough that I did a photoshoot. At first I was trying to clean up the front bumper but the lovebugs were baked on and the paint was already ruined so I gave up on it. :-/ However, the car looks great!

Looks nice! I also have a few spots on my bumper ruined by love bugs. Since then I am constantly cleaning the bumper. Thank God its over.

Thanks! The car is all stock, except for the painted grille. I just don't have the money for anything yet. First I'm gonna put in HIDs then lower it 1.5 to 2 inches (I still have to do a LOT of research on it, I only recently started thinking about it) and then get a black top. I think the car would look much better white/black than white/tan. Besides, the top is already starting to fall apart. All that will wait until I finally find a job, though.

clay bar the front bumper, it should make it look 10x better. Otherwise, I think the car looks clean.

Looks good...I gotta get my car washed and get the love bugs off. They have been on there for a few weeks and I'm worried of what it will look like once they are washed off. I have just been too lazy to get it washed, and last time I went out to the mobile guy at work, his hose broke and he couldn't wash anymore cars.

I'm surpised you haven't gotten the, "Get Gen1 tails" yet. I like the 1.5 tails.

Sounds like you are a bit more chipper about the car, hopefully that means that it's treating you better and possibly have some job prospects

I'm starting to feel like I should just have somebody professionally clean the front bumper but I'll try the clay thing. I'll fire up the pressure cleaner my dad has lying around in the garage and wash the rims. I LOVE my gen 1.5 tails, they look great. No way am I gonna go for gen 1. It was one of the things I really liked about my 'lara.

There are still a couple of problems but thankfully, the major one (seatbelt) was fixed. The remaining problems I have are minor stuff that just needs money to be fixed. Still no job prospects though.
