Rims, Grill and Shaved Clean

I just got the new rims on: 19" x 7.5" Enkei RS7 courtesy of Reggie  with General tires 225/35/19 from tirerack.com. Definitely loving the setup. Its real sweet to see the red calipers and blue struts thru the rim now. It really takes the solara to the next level.

Also just finished a custom renova-style grill. I just chopped out the middle black bars and toyota logo from the stock one, sanded it down very fine, took it to get painted 3N5 to match, and fitted in black metalic grill mesh. Also added the TRD logo I picked up off of ebay last year. I'm real happy with it...its much nicer than pealing chrome and I think its more sturdy than the renova.

And also due to popular demand, I shaved it clean...no traces of Toyota anywhere on the car...completely stealth now. :D

Wow - rims are looking sweet! :D

Not sure about that grille though... maybe its just the pics but the edges look a little rough.

Thanks everyone. I'll take some more pics of the grill. The edges aren't rough at all, I think thats just the way the suns hitting it. (3rd pic) The only weird part is the top of the outer plastic seems to be pushed up higher than the upper corners. I couldn't figure out why: its not the mesh pushing it up, its not the bolt holding it, I have no idea. More pics tomorrow or sunday.

Your not clean shaven yet. Remove the cheesey TRD badge on the grille and the front license plate has to go also. Make it happen baby :D
