Screw all the power tools... just get a good cleaning polish and use some elbow grease on that bumper and the wheels! ;)

Nice to see a Gen 1.5 convert on here though!

The longer you leave those love bugs on your car, the better chance you have of them eating through your paint and then your screwed. There is some kind of acid in them. I have a couple spots on my hood where there is a BARE METAL splat.

Jeff, you are lucky to not have been acquianted with LOVE BUGS! I have no love for the damn things!

They were supposedly introduced to FL to eat some other bug that was causing problems...only no one researched the buggers first.

They SWARM, and I didn't put that in capital letters by mistake. You could be driving down the road and come up upon a swarm that completely obscures your view. Then, they SPLAT all over your car in a very messy way.

Bad thing...their bodies are very acidic and if you don't get them off soon enough, they will literally EAT though your paint. It's a pain in the ass, and there are two love bug seasons each year...hate 'em.

Why do they call the love bugs, you ask? Well, you didn't ask, but I'm gonna tell you ANYWAY!

All they do is FUK and die...literally. The fly around connected to eachother (very aimlessly) and they reporduce and then they die.

They are AWFUL, and I wish they would go away. I'm not sure any birds even eat them because of the acid.

Scary shizniks....

According to Snopes, it's not by some researcher or something; just something that Migrated to Florida...

I'm also sure you meant they fxck, then the dude dies with its wang permanently stuck in her cooter, then unstuck when she lays eggs... If it wasn't for the fact that you'd die and everybody hated you for ruining their rides, getting constantly laid for most of your adult life sounds fun!

In chicago here we are having major issues with cicadas. I found one crawling around in my car earlier today when driving to my attorney's office.

Cicada? Those things that look like a 5-inch long HUGE mutant of a fly that makes kind of a chirping/rustling noise? I thought that was an "Asia-only" critter, and how the hell did it fit in there?!

*EDIT* Sorry, I thought you said in your ear. Blah, I need a new eye exam... I need new contacts anyway.
