While I am digging into my wheel bearings (see other thread) what is recommended for pads and rotors? Where is the best to order them from?

I've been pretty satisfied w/my cross-drilled Brembo rotors and Porterfield Racing pads.
I ordered the Brembo from sportbrakes.com for $220 shipped (now they r like $230), and the pads from the Porterfield website.

I'm thinkin that standard replacement might not be such a bad thing.. I'm not real hard on my brakes... just standard replacements with no drilling or what not, with a good set of pads

this last time i changed my pads (~1 month ago) i used SP Performance rotors (slotted and dimpled) from jc whitney, and i also used the axxis (i think that was the brand) organic brake pads.

apparently the thing with the organic pads is that they squeak less, and produce less brake dust...both of which i have noticed in this past month

the rotors were ~$100 shipped from jc whitney (like $89 plus tax and shipping), and the pads were around $80 from autozone

i went with brembo blank rotors and hawk hps pads in the front with akebono proact pads in the rear, all off tirerack. performs better than oem, and the blanks can be turned if needed, unlike slotted or driller rotors

I bought some Brembo cross-drilled, and that was a couple months ago......
And now their warped....
I think once i get enough money, then i'm goin' to try ATE rotors, and Axxis pads.
