hey guys, i ran 8k for a while and loved the color and light output, i was wondering what experience you 6k guys have had. what color are your HIDs after being used for a while. i know the color shifts a little, any opinoins or pictures are welcomed.

600K is just a less definite shade of blue. it's more white with a very light ice blue tint to it. from what I've seen. [Of course with projectors that is a diff story.I think the projectors make the beam more intense.. (correct me if I"m wrong) I right now have 8k (non projectors) and actually I'm 'still satisfied because I can see at night and in rain just fine. Of course with 6000k, even though you have less definite color, of course you'll experience morelight output. Even though HIDs themselves' light output is already far greater than halogen bulbs, the 6000K will still produce more light than the 8000K.

I would post pics of my hids, but i only have the pics of me facing the car, not from inside the car. sorry. Hope this helps at least a lil bit.
