I prolly wanna make the SS lines my first aftermarket upgrade after the 36k mile warranty goes out. I am particularly feeling like the brakes ain't what they used to be (haven't changed them pads yet @31kmiles)...is this a good idea?

Jeff, you mentioned something problematic about getting 2 like pairs (4 front or 4 rear, instead of 2 + 2)?

I bought 1 front and 1 rear (I'm alsmost sur it comes as a pair...) I don't see why you had to buy 4 rear or 4 front lines.

Can you tell Jeff what you bought ?
I hope I will not get only 1 front and 1 rear lines !! :S haha
I'll write them right now !

Answer by Stoptech agent.
1 front kit + 1 front rear is correct (and completely logical)

gnegroni just makes me doubt about it ! :P

Sebastien,

We sell all of our SS Brake Line Kits in a SET, we do not sell brake lines individually. The part numbers you have ordered will be sufficient, you do not need to order them again. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Thanks.

I don't want to create an other thread to show my pics...so there we go.

Nothing too special...no SS lines yet and no painted calipers...just R1 concept preminium rotors. I feel a difference...it is stronger and with the SS lines it will be quicker in response time.

Huh?? :-?

You only need one pair for front - one for rear. I was only saying that the possibility of getting the wrong parts could be the possibility for fitment issues. Otherwise they're just not installing them correctly.

Pretty easy if you have a bleeder kit and the proper wrench. Use a special brake line wrench or you'll round the corners on the nut. A simple brake bleed kit is under $15 at Auto Zone.
