i just bought a 2003 4cyl solara with 50000 miles.

be honest, is this car worth putting money into and will it perform thereafter?

i believe its all stock atm.

If it is financially worth it, where should i start?

Lets Call these the Before Pics :-p

Nope, just make it look real good. And add a few things like (intake, TRD muffler, TRD Sway bar) to make preform better......but don't take it too seriously.

ok so performance is out. besides intake and muffler.

what about body kits?

id want something that you dont have to pay 2000$ just to get installed, are there lip kits for this car? and how much do they cost?

im getting rims next week.

anyone know what muffler the 350z uses stock? i like the watery sound, are there any aftermarket mufflers that will give that sound with a decent ca intake?

i have the same car as you, mine is black sand pearl. i have been through modifying the car... bought everything. i then had a custom turbo kit fabricated for the 2az. in my opinion, i would say that you should add the things mentioned above. intake, exhaust, and rear sway bar. additionally, i would advise you to just tastefully modify the car. debadge it, find a TRD kit, rims, brakes, HIDs, and other small items. enjoy owning one of the cleanest looking cars on the road and keep the fuel efficiency. just my .02

so far i have

18X8 Motegi Chrome Rims DP12, i wanted the DP10 but they were like 300$ more so i said F*ck it.

I just bought 1400$ worth of audio equipment too, flip out head unit / Kenwood 12 subwoofer with a open slot box and a 1000w kenwood amp. 400$ professionally installed.

i really want that kaminari body kit though, do they come pre painted!? if so im all over that sh*t

dont i already have a sway bar? is the trd sway bar just for looks? or does it actually make a difference?

any suggestions on a decently priced intake kit? and is there a difference between cold air and Short Ram?

ill post pics of the rims on tuesday
