:arg: :arg:

I was driving toward south on Kennedy road. My car came to a full stop at a red light at the intersection of Kennedy road and Dennison st. As the lights turned green, I advanced through the intersection going south on Kennedy. The driver of the Toyota Echo failed to stop on her red light (she was coming from the west, going east on Dennison), and collided into the front right side of my Toyota Solara.

Bottom line, she was charged at the scene, her car has to be a write off, she's at fault and amits it (thank god i didnt get assholes that wont amit $hit), and i have witness's. Now I have a $hitastic rental corolla

OUCH! I'm sorry to hear that. It's a pain seeing your baby towed away like that. Believe me, I've been there a few times. At least your Solara didn't look even half as bad as that Echo.

I've also had a rental Corolla (which was given to me when my Solara was at the dealership for engine sludge repair) and hated it so much. My right leg were hurting after only 10 minutes of driving it... (the dash was too low and my knee was right against it)

BTW I noticed the Ontario plates, as well as the "Markham" on the fire truck. I have a friend who lives there, his father is some big time business owner or something, I believe. I've been told it's a nice area.

damn, and it's a couple of Toyota's too. The damage on your car isn't as bad as hers. Your damages will be an easy fix for the body shop.

Sux it happened...glad everybody was okay though.

on the contrary, your solara looks like some bad-ass linebacker. kinda like a flatbed trailer vs a small car, given that her's was totalled.
sucks man, ,,,,but at least u got the rental/replacement asap.

I'm really sorry to hear about / see that man... The damages on your Lara actually don't look all that bad, especially considering the damage to her ride.

I'm glad everyone was alright though... Your car looks 100% repairable, and it may not even have frame damage due to the location it was hit (and I highly doubt it has any engine damage). Only thing I'd say is suspension may be messed up, but that's easily replaced.

Anyhow man, keep us posted on the progress!

Take care,

-James

you have my sympathy. I was in two accidents within a 2month span right when i got out of the shop after a week after the first.. WHAM! rear-ended... Not bad as mine when i lost control of mine on the first when my entire driver side was busted up. Hope you get good returns in the future!
