Question on Eibach springs/Tokico Struts

Postby cruze105 » Sat Jun 07, 2003 8:03 pm

hey guyz wassup, i just got my eibach springs and tokico struts installed except of the right rear strut which is stock becuase of some wong part sent, but will get installed monday. So right now im riding on 4 eibach springs and 3 tokico struts and one stock right rear strut. MY question is that when i left the body shop and got home, i noticed that the rear of the car was lower then the front. I not sure if the auto body shop installed it wrong or not. I have nothing in the trunk either. Anyways im gonna have have to bring it back Monday to get the last tokico strut inserted and ask them why the car lowered more in the back then in the front. Does anyone have any suggestions or know if it was installed wrong?

It's can't be wrong. Front and back are not interchangable.

do not base the look of the car b/c of the eibach springs. i believe the rear fender is lower than the front, making the look of the car that the front is higher than the rear. but on all solaras and many other cars that have the pro-kit looks like the front is higher than the front.

I have the same set up and I think that my rear actually sits higher then the front. If you look at my car from the side it slopes down from the back to the front. At stock thats how the car sits and since the eibach set up is 1.6 in the frint and rear thats what it should look like after the kit s on. I actually have said this before but I wish that the springs were 1.8 in the rear to make the car level.

I have that setup too. The front gap looks a little bit bigger than the rear but i think it is because of the fender being lower in the back, like what trdmole says.

If you look at the stock suspension, the front is higher than the rear also. If the front was really low I'd imagine you would have trouble turning

I agree about the tiens looking a little better and that a front that is tucking looks so sweet
