O2 Sensor Install

O2 Sensor Install

Postby phillyclaude » Mon Jul 23, 2007 12:58 pm

Has anyone changed their two O2 sensors? My CEL is on, and thats the code that came up. Are their any gotchas or certain brands of sensors I should look out for?

I was told its not too bad an install, so I was gonna grab a chilton or haynes manual after work and give it a lookthrough. I tried searching for old threads on it, so sorry if I missed something. Thanks,
Claude

I would just stick with OEM. As for the install, its very easy. A chilton or a Toyota manual will help you out later if you do decide to get one. GL! 8)

hmm Will i need ramps or jackstands to do this? I'm not sure how far back under the car they are, and its pretty low with the TRD body kit.

a jack under the h-frame and some jackstands would be enough to get in there.. its tight, don't get me wrong, but do-able with just those items...
