RDK, got the calendar! I absolutely love it, hehe. I know the chances of you making a calendar again next year is iffy but if you do, I would like to help out. I'll even pre-pay you for it. :)

My chances of making a calendar are not iffy at all. I've got every plan to make next year's calendar waaayyyy better than this year's! Hopefully a lot more people submit their pics :P .

Picture requests for the calendar and a thread about it will start in mid October. I will run submissions until the beginning of November, and have the pre-order list running at the same time. I will not be ordered any extras, so you pre-order or get nothing :P . And gangis, I'll be glad for your help. I'll even send you a calendar at shipping cost if you do :).

Oh yeah, it's great! I'm actually leaving on another in two weeks, so I'll have a week at home in between. I remember last summer, I only had 2 weeks at home, period!

You just have to become part of the family, I guess. But I'm not ready for marriage yet, especially if you're a GUY! :o So you're SOL on that one, buddy :).

^^^ There is my install of RDKamikaze's HID kit. I used an H3 (FOG) kit with 4300k for a "clean white" light. The kit came WITH the relay harness, and my setup is wired through an remote switch (the BRIGHT RED light under the ignition) with a DIRECT line to the battery... must/can be operated WITHOUT the car on, hence, the BRIGHT light to "notify" me that they are "on". (I needed this setup to enable independent control of the FOGS even when the RUNNING LIGHTS are not on... (It goes well with my remote BRAKE LIGHT BYPASS switch... when the red DASH light is ON, the brake lights are "inactive"... :o (DON'T ASK!) 8)

So far, the kit looks GREAT! (Instructions are near worthless, in MY opinion... but that's because I do my own wiring configuration anyway... also, the instructions didn't indicate how to wire the relay harness... (also pictured, says "HID" on the relay unit...) The BLACK wire is "HOT", and the WHITE wire is "GROUND".

WOOT!

Crisp, I know. :) I recognized it as soon as I opened it to July. To be honest, it's my favorite one out of the 12. No lie!

BTW, RDK... You may want to ask the people to submit images that are 3 or 4 megapixels at the minimum... I noticed artifacts on six of the pictures in the calendar. Crisp's picture came out REALLY nice, though! I hope my convertible will make it into next year's, hehe.

EDIT: I'm a wizard at Photoshop. I learned from the best (my brother) ;) If you need help in that department, I'm in too.

The kits came today! I'm going to be busy over the weekend packaging and sending them off to everyone. You should expect your kit by Thursday of next week by the LATEST.

Tracking numbers will be sent individually via PM. I am sending the kits via Priority Mail USPS. Thanks for your purchases and buyers' comments!

P.S. Thanks for the advice on the pics. Last year's calendar was really short notice and came out alright, but pretty crappy. If you want to be in the calendar, take the best and most high quality (4MP minimum) pics you can and submit them when I start asking around October. Gangis, I'm going to want to work with you on this project so you can work your PS magic on the 12 I choose!

The kits had to be postponed on the shipping because there were problems at the post office. They will be shipped off tomorrow for sure though! I'm sorry about making everyone wait 1 more day :P .

Alright, I got most of the packages out on Tuesday. If I sentyours out, you will get a PM from me shortly with your tracking number(s).

Only a couple members did not get their kits shipped out yet. I ran out of boxes, so I had to get more when I went to the post office. It was too late to ship them, though.

If you get your kit, please be sure to post up pics when you install it! We're all eager to see your results.

P.S. to everyone PMing me about teh group buy. The group buy is OVER, as in done! Please stop PMing me about juming in on it now, thanks.
