I just wanted to say hi to all of you Solara lovers out there. I will be picking up my 1st Solara convertible on Sat. It is a white '04, cloth int. SE with 44k. I had an Avalon for quite a few years, drive a Maxima for my job now and the Solara will be my wifes car.

I can't wait to pick it up. We have wanted one since they changed the body style in '04.

Is there any advice anyone out there can give me about this site or the car?

I look forward to hearing from folks!

Thanks,
Doug M

Be careful of cloth seats and a convertible. Don't leave your top down while parked in the sun, seats will fade. Also, don't let it rain on them...they'll get musty.

I don't think I'd get a vert without leather.

One advice i will give you is to use the search button before asking questions because the most likely have been asked and answered before

Hey Doug, welcome to the site. Are you going for the V6 or I4?

I'm sure you'll enjoy it, they're great cars and certainly get a lot of attention!

Enjoy the site!
