Weird I have 18x8.5 inch wheels with a 35mm offstt and I'm running 225/40/18. I get a little rubbing but not much(need to roll the fenders) I believe there is someone on the board running 19x8.5 with 235/45/19 and he dose not have a problem. What is the offset of your wheels? if you have rubbing issues, invest in rolling the fenders, then you should be straight.

they fit on the front fine, they hit the strut tower in the rear, nothin near the fender. I assumed they would fit because they came off an 04 SE my friend has... as for getting like 225/45/17, they wouldnt fit on the wheels... not properly anyways

so im thinking if i find a 10 mm spacer this should take care of the problem, at lesat if i just put them on the rears..? is my train of thought correct? since a 225 will fit without isse, but a 235 wont?

There are spacers out there with hubs already in them but what every you do use longer studs.

Something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/15MM-Whe ... enameZWDVW
no ring should be needed.

k - then only thing i have left to ask is - is my logic that a 10 mm spacer should be enough? because im not trying to have the back wheels offset any further then necessary.. i dont want my car to look like it just hopped the border.

solaras have more clearance than my camry. I am currently using H&R 15mm spacers in the rear with no issues. You might consider those as 5mm spacers rub/touch with tires that have soft sidewalls during turns. 10mm would be a little too perfect to the point that It wont make me worry, but it will remain at the back of my mind. I say go 15mm and do it right.
