O2 simulator install

Can anyone post up the diagrams or the pin's to where i hook the o2 simulator up to? I have absolutely no clue where to begin.


all i know is that i gotta do it at the ECU pin's....correct?

I have a mechanical o2 simulator that was dirt cheap. It only requires some drilling, but it works great! I got the parts for under $5 at AutoZone, and drilling the holes isn't hard at all. I tried an electronic o2 sim, but it always threw a code at higher RPMs.

i see the DIY, its a nice write up, but how does that even work? how does it trick the o2 sensor?

I wondered the same exact question before I did my o2 sim. All I know is that it works. Some people said it has something to do with putting the o2 sensor back far enough to where it doesn't read too hot or high, so it sees the system running "normal." Like I said, I'm not positive, but I know it works. I've only had the CEL come up once, and that was today. I went on a 2 hour road trip this morning in pouring rain the whole way up hills and stuff. It was the first and only time it came on, but a quick battery disconnect and reconnect fixed the whole problem.

ill do the o2 simulator, and if i cant get that to work, ill do this trick.

No problem! I highly reccomend starting with this simple mod, though. I still have my electric o2 sim somewhere around the house, and I haven't gotten into selling it. Good luck with your car, bro!
