Pipe expanding noise after parking

Is it common for all Solaras to have that "pipe expanding" noise when you turn the car off after you drive somewhere? Kind of like an intermittent clicking sound coming from benieth. Just cruiouse because it's been a long time since I can recall hearing that noise coming from any car.
