EBAY Replacement Rotors & Pads

EBAY Replacement Rotors & Pads

Postby Jeffrey Olson » Sun Jul 29, 2007 8:15 am

I've got a shudder when I brake and am looking to replace rotors and pads on my 6 cvylinder, 99 SE. I'm looking at rotors and pads advertised on EBAY and wonder what others think of this deal. Is this $220 worth it?

I don't need high performance replacements - I'm looking for the best deal for good components. Suggestions welcome...

Thanks...

Jeff...

Get brembo blanks and OEM (or other similar ceramic) pads. On the street drilled and slotted are mostly for looks.

Personally I run duralast rotors and bendex ceramic pads because I can return them for free replacement at any time.

go to tirerack.com and price out brembo blanks (plain) rotors and some hawk hps pads. Should be compareable price wise and def. will stop better. also upgrade your lines while you're at it
