Thanks everyone for the great welcome! The car is very nice. I especially like the bluetooth integration. I will check out the side moldings before I put them on and I will give second thoughts to whether I go with Lojack. Torrential rains last night and the car was dry, except for water drips near the small speaker at the front of the passenger door (window was up and tight and I entered through the driver's door after it stopped raining. I will watch that carefully. If anyone has a link to picks of gen 2.5 with side molding, I would like to see that. Thanks everyone!

Interesting. When I bought my 06, there were water spot in that exact place on the lot! I questioned it, they blew it off. To this day, the spots have never come back. I guess this was one of the first times the dealer blowing something off was right. I hope you don't have a leak, but if you do, I'm sure it will be an easy fix from the dealer.

I'll haved to see if I can dig up the pics of the moulding...they are around somewhere.

Sorry redsol, I tired. Google was not my friend today. Maybe someone else will remember where that pic is. They are not popular at all.

Thanks MCOjerry for the pics of the side moulding. IRISH - good luck with your new '08. The car has no changes from the '07 that I can see. I almost went for the Blue Streak, but they had the red in stock and I grabbed it up. As I see it, the car has the unique ability to dress up "sporty" in Blue Streak/Black top, Absolutely Red/Black top, or Black/Black top. In Black/Tan Top, Charcoal/Black top, White/Black top or tan top, or Silver/Black top, the car takes a more luxury look. I went for the sporty and bright look. I will post pics this weekend if the weather cooperates.
