Eibach Pro-Kit springs: approx $200 + labor
Tokico struts: approx $400 + labor
Molly Designs body kit: call for pricing + paint
Rims/Tires: go with something else...TRD just uses TSW wheels
TRD SC: approx $2000 + labor

Bottom line, get it yourself, save yourself a LOT of money.

unless used, you can't really buy TRD stuff anywhere outside of toyota/trd. same thing for the molly designs kit.

however other items struts, springs, wheels, etc can be purchased through outside sources.

woaaa....wait a minute...the eibach springs run about 250 on a good day...and the sc has run ON AVERAGE about 2500- 2700...and at first they were about 3400....2000 for a sc sounds wayyy to low...but hey other than that just make sure u get it installed by a TRD trained tech (if going through dealership) or a smart solara guy (if going through solaraguy.com).

If you check out various sites, you'll find prices for many of these parts to be all over the map. As for the struts and springs, it just depends on who is making a deal. The supercharger does list for well over $3000, but you can always find them for less. A number of dealers who move a lot of product have discounts from time to time. They were going for around $2000 several months ago when dealers were looking to dump their inventories. Of course, there is always eBay or For Sale forums on sites like this for used parts. Bottom line, you can do way better than the prices that TRD is quoting. Just look around.

right now dealer cost for a S/C is $2495.00

the reason they were so cheap a couple of months ago is TRD was running a sale for the holidays.

yes i'm quite sure, b/c that's what i paid for mine!
$2495.00 is the cost to the dealership from TRD. dealers then mark it up to around $3,000.00
install is another story....

Since you guys are on the topic...

I am planning on purchasing a SC for my v6 standard, can any of you tell me estimated installation prices from a qualified Toyota tech?

Also, as an alternative, I have a friend who is a certified tech. What is the rating of difficulty? I can and have installed car audio, springs, struts, and shortshifter myself.

Thanks,
Neal
