Blurry Rear Window Tint

Blurry Rear Window Tint

Postby Day O » Fri Jun 13, 2003 5:48 am

I am a new owner of a 2000 Solara and the only problem I have with the car is the very blurry rear window tint. I noticed this problem on other cars that I was test driving and wonder if it is a problem with the factory tint. Can anyone tell me if there is a solution?

Thanks for your help

not a problem on my car. i have one of the darker tints. done at the service dept at the dealership. no peeling, bubbles, fogging etc.

i'd pay someone to take the rear off, since all those electronic defogger metallic lines are there.

seems like the person who owned the car first hand did the tint himself, or went to a shissce-y place.

My tint was put on about two years ago by a company recommended by the dealer. It's just now starting to get a little blurry. Not bad, but noticable. I think I have a warranty for about 5 years with it, hopefully they'll replace is no charge. We'll see.
