Good Luck and keep us updated.

bondo

Postby NRDriver » Wed Aug 08, 2007 10:19 pm

ive been doing bodywork as a hoby for awhile now. if you use the right orbital sander to make grooves in the door it will stick and not crack, especially in this situation. it only .25" of bondo. im confident it wont crack

It doesn't look like body panels join where the trim is/was. If that is the case there wont be much body flex. The bondo could still crack, but probably not for several years.

GL with the project, that is gonna take allot of time, and $$$ for a repaint.

G/L with the project, if things go well it'll look clean.

I used to have that kit, they're GS300 fogs from like '97-'98.

they do join. lol
its just indented 1/4 inch. so i just filled in the indent. its indented just like the part on the fender and quarterpanel in the picture

also, i just repaired the quarterpanel on my camaro and got a compressor and all of the painting goodies. if it turns out good i may do most of the paining myself
