20" Wheel For 03 Solara SLE V6

Postby AguinaldoHomes Inc » Fri Aug 10, 2007 3:18 pm

I just purchased an 03 Solara SLE V6 and I was wondering if I can upgrade to a set of 20 x 8.5/5 x 114.3/38 Offset?

Thanks,

Mark

I think it'll fit, but I'm not sure about 8.5, maybe 7.5. I don't think you can turn the wheel all the way with those. IMO, I think 19's are better for us gen1's...I've got 19x8.5 +35 and it's a tight fit.

Check out this thread it has the info your looking for.

Yea that's what i was thinking too since i'm going to be lowering the car with tein s-tech springs. so now i've made up my mind and go for the 19x8.5/38 offset. do i have to roll the fenders with this set up?

Yes, definately the rears, but I haven't had to do the fronts. I also have 235 series tires, which I think is perfect. Anything bigger you'll have to get a different offset, I know that Richard with the widebody had bigger. But, he has fender flares to make it look good.
