hey, i spoke with my dad about getting the tuneup and he was like dont get the timing belt done, wait until it breaks? he says it will cost the same to repair whether u replace it when the car breaks down or if you just do it now as preventive maintenance? is this true? also, i read through some other threads, but couldnt find a consensus on when to get the water pump changed. should i get it done at 60k? truth be told, i just have been driving the car myself for hte past couple months, so from 30k (when they did the first major tuneup) to 60k, my parents havent gotten any sort of maintenance besides regular oil changes, tire rotation/balance, and they did the alignment once. so i would really appreciate it if someone could give me a list of things i should probably get done now. i live in atlanta, so the weather isnt too hot or cold compared to other places, and i dont drive too crazy (most of hte time). thanks guys
